Tti Testing Laboratories Marks Pakistan's 79th Independence Day with a Pledge to the Nation

Tti Testing Laboratories celebrated Pakistan's 79th Independence Day with a gathering at its Lahore facility, bringing together its team of 250 plus people for a ceremony that went beyond cake and celebrations. It carried a message and a pledge.
The event was covered live by Lahore-based news channel Daily 42, with reporter Junaid Riaz on the ground as employees gathered, received cash prizes in recognition of their contributions, and marked the occasion together. CEO Hamed K. Lateef cut the Independence Day cake and addressed the team.

"Allah Rabb-ul-Izzat has given us the opportunity to contribute to the economy of this country," he said. "Our team of 250 to 300 people is working together, focused on one thing: how we can support and expand Pakistan's exports. The testing, inspections, and certifications being carried out here are directly improving the exports of this country. Today we play a key role in enhancing them."
Beyond exports, Mr. Hamed K. Lateef used the occasion to make two commitments on behalf of the organization.
The first was a pledge of honesty and integrity. "We made a promise today," he said, "on how we will uplift Pakistan with honesty and integrity, uniting it and strengthening it." He has consistently held that honesty is not a soft value but the foundation on which credible institutions are built, and on Independence Day he made it a collective commitment.
The second pledge was on sustainability, an area that Mr. Lateef placed firmly in the context of global responsibility. "Environmental and climatic changes are affecting the entire world," he said. "Sustainability is the answer. And a large part of that is eliminating wastage. We will not waste food, water, electricity, or any resource available to us."
For an organization whose entire work is built on the principle that what gets measured gets improved, the sustainability pledge carries particular weight. Tti Testing Laboratories already holds ZDHC status and works across environmental compliance with textile, food, and pharmaceutical clients. The internal commitment to zero wastage is a natural extension of the standards it holds its clients to.
Tti Testing Laboratories is Pakistan's most accredited independent testing and inspection body, ISO/IEC 17025 and 17020 accredited, with results accepted across 70 economies without re-testing. That standing, built over 31 years, is what Mr. Lateef was pointing to when he said the team's daily work connects directly to the country's economic performance.

Independence Day, for most organizations, is a holiday. At Tti Labs, it was a moment to look at 250+ people and remind them that what they do every working day is part of something larger.
